My health and fitness interest began as a personal endeavor when I joined a local gym a few years after high school.  I enjoyed my new lifestyle so much that I decided to make a career of it.  I began teaching group classes at a hospital based wellness center while in college and climbed the ladder up to fitness instructor within a few years.  I continued to work there and train individuals for a total of nine years.  During that time I gained knowledge and experience training individuals of all ages and physical conditions.  I worked with people who have osteoporouses, arthritis, heart disease, obesity, and orthopedic problems to name a few. 
 In 2004, I wanted more out of fitness for myself so I began training for competitive bodybuilding.  During this year long journey leading up to my competition, I learned the ultimate meaning of discipline, patience, and commitment.  I also learned the importance of having an attitude of gratitude--you have to be thankful for where you are now in order to be promoted to a higher place.  My goal is to help clients feel good about themselves now while taking them on a journey to higher fitness and better health.  I work hard at maintaining my own health and fitness level and demand the same from my clients.
 
Much will be accomplished in the hour or so that we train, but it matters tremendously what you do in the other 23 hours of the day.  That's why I will provide support and guidence outside of training sessions.  If you work hard for me, I wil; work hard for you.  As your trainer I won't allow you to waste your time and money.  Your efforts won't come back void.  After all, "you reap what you sew".

*  CPR for Health Care Providers
*  Arthritis Foundation for Water Aerobics Training
*  On the job training - Phlebotomy
 
--  All clients must provide a medical history and list of medications currently taken
--  Clients with certain medical conditions will be required to obtain a physician's 
    letter verifying that he or she is fit to workout
--  All clients will be required to provide a food journal for seven days.
